1968 Buick Skylark Custom, Blue/Blue, 103,000 Miles
This is a 1968 Buick Skylark Custom. A California car purchased from the best friend of the original owner’s son who parted with the car when his father passed away about 4 years ago. The 25-year-old 2nd owner bought the car with intention of restoring it. However after having the engine rebuilt, he realized he did not have he time or desire to complete the project.
This whole car has gone through a “frame on” restoration of sorts. As far as the body goes, it has been repainted to resemble the original color (blue) but a with a little bit brighter metallic paint. The paint job really sets this car apart from any other car on the road. The interior has been completely removed and reupholstered to match the original colors (light blue and navy blue) but also with custom touches. Mechanically the engine is sound. It has the numbers matching 350 Engine with stock ST-300 transmission. The engine was removed and repainted blue, as well as adding T/A Performance Stage 1 aluminum intake and Hooker headers. The water pump has been replaced along with the gaskets. On top of the manifold is an Edelbrock 4 barrel and Edelbrock air cleaner. It is sitting on Cragar SS rims with BF Goodrich rubber.
The car has power steering, power windows and air conditioning. It drives like a dream. You will love it.
