1942 Chevrolet 1/2 Ton Short Bed. You are looking at the ultimate street machine/street rod pickup. This truck was voted “ONE OF THE TOP TEN TRICK TRUCKS IN THE WORLD" LAST YEAR. The paint is ppg's amethyst pastel/vanilla shake. The interior is ultra-leather/suede/and ostrich. it has power steering (power r&p), 4wpdb, 454ss cooling, vintage air, 1600W sound system, s&p brackets and accessories, tinted glass, remote locks, this fabulous piece of art has 72 body modifications (this is all steel folks) 2x4x1/4" rectangular tube chassis. Morrison 9" ford rear w/mossier axles, 4:37 gears, HP-TH400 w/3500 stahl TC and shift kit. Suicide doors w/billet safety latches lights and sound alarms. The bed has 3 equal parts: the 1st is sound equip and storage, the middle is drive train, the 3rd is fuel cell. The center section is 14ga ss. the bed has been shortened 2 feet and the fenders have been set upward and forward. The rear wheels are brand new budnick 18x15 1-off sitting on 18X29 MT's. The front wheels are 17X8 budnicks also (as well as the steering wheel) sitting on gatorbacks. Everything has less than 20 miles on it. Ceramic exhaust, new electronic VDO gauges. tilt and dimmer on the column, Taylor wires, 50k-electronic ignition, 472 bbc w/ 671 mega blower, both reprogrammed this week. Underneath and engine purple neon. This truck is a "TOP TEN" at NSRA grand nationals winner. It won 12 1st places at the street machine nationals in Indianapolis (including best paint, best engine, and best interior, best design, best pro-street, etc, I think you get the idea). It won "BEST OF SHOW" at truckin' USA. It was centerfold in street rodder mag. was used on sonic drive-in commercials in Kansas City. I spent $25,000 alone this year just on new paint, new interior (which I did myself), and new wheels and tires. Build and spec sheet, as well as more photos available. I am co-builder and the only owner that this great little truck has ever known (except for grandpa). There are 490 miles, original miles unknown.
