This year of Fords proved to be very reliable and affordable to the middle class. Some Auto Manufactures were high on fins, but Ford stayed very moderate at this time.
Dual headlights were approved and most manufactures came out with duals. Right hand mirrors were optional and remained that way until the mid 70’s.
Twelve volts electrical systems came to Ford and Chrysler in 1956. But GMC products came in 1955.
This car sustained moderate damage in the tornado of May 2008 and after body work was done it was repainted.
