1972 ford mustang mach 1. body: car weighs 2486# w/o driver. doors front clip, hood and rear decklid are fiberglass. also has an ed quay spoiler not pictured. all windows are lexan. note: all work to the car was professionally done by chassis shops. Chassis: front end has been converted to a mustang II rack and pinion steering along with spindles, front brakes are from aerospace components. Ten point roll cage all chrome moly tubing, double 2x3 box frame sub connectors, rock solid and no flex! Alson rear ladder bars, with QA1 rear coil over shocks. rear brakes are wilwood drag race brakes. rearend is a reniforced 9" ford housing with all moser internals. nodular case, 33 spline spool and axels with 4.86 pro gears. Transmission: ATD built power glide with trans brake, J.W. Performance ultra bell and flex plate. convertor is 6400 stall. Low 1.30's 60 ft times! car leaves hard! Engine: Ford racing svo R302 Siamese race block. bored and stroked to
364 CID. Makes 710 HP. car runs 9.50 in the quarter mile @ 141 mph. 6.08 in the eigth @112 mph. the engine was built by C&S Performance engines in Butler Wi. The shop has all records of this build. This is one of the baddest 302"s around without a power adder! Yes No Power Adder! Internals: eagle 3.40" stroke 4130 steel crank. Manley aluminum rods, custom gas port JE pistons. compression is 15 to 1. Cylinder heads: Edelbrock victor #7721. Custom port work, one of a kind ! heads flow around 400 cfm @ 740 lift . all valves are titanium with T&D machine roller rockers. Intake manifold: custom sheetmetal tunnel ram built by C&S Performance. Fuel system : dual flying toilets from ron's racing products. Electronics: K&R pro cube with pro launch control with throttle stop. Hurst shifter with electric selonoid to shift for you, set at 8100 rpm with chip. Oiling: divorced bypass spring in pump with external regulator to adjust oil pressure. this
assures even pressure troughout entire engine. also has #12 AN lines going to a system 1 oil filter. Also has oil accumulator! Car runs super pro , top et. also capable of running in the super classes, IE: super street- super gas. 10.90 or 9.90 classes. the car is setup and capable of running these classes. the car weighed 2610 # with me in it. i weigh 175#. beautiful car and proven winner. I was top 10 in "top et: class out of 130 cars in my class.
