1979 Lincoln Continental Bill Blass Edition Mark V. This blue and white Bill Blass Lincoln with nautical design, complete with portal windows, is a true eye-catcher. The interior is white leather seats with nautical design in blue. The Lincoln was modified at the factory with the installation of the white vinyl roof, with electric sun-roof, and also a factory installed CB radio. The steering wheel is navy, the front console is navy with wood trim. This baby has an 8-track player which came with the car. The carpeting is navy. This Lincoln features 2 doors, air-conditioning, cruise control, power steering, power brakes, power windows, rear window defroster, 8 cylinder engine with automatic transmission, 4-wheel disc brakes, Michelin white-wall tires, rear wheel drive, electric locks, retractable headlight covers, tilt wheel, remote controlled mirrors, intermittent wiper/ washer, lighted sun visor mirrors, pop-up trunk button in glove box, powered driver and passenger seats with ability to raise seat up, tilt back, move forward, backward. This Lincoln has been well cared for and loved. It is garaged from November until May in a heated garage. This Mark V has been inspected through 2010. All of the hoses have been replaced and a new battery has been installed. There is minimal wear showing on the driver’s side. There is also a small scratch on the gas tank cover. This Lincoln is also grandfathered from emission control requirements. We are the original owners and hate to part with this beauty but it deserves to be showcased and driven more than we are currently able.
