1964 Replicas and Kits Shell Valley Daytona Coupe Series II Rolling Chassis, Tangelo Orange Pearl/Black

1964 Cobra Daytona Coupe by Shell Valley. To my knowledge, there is not another one that is a drag race car on any track in the country.

*This car is rolling only, NO engine, trans or third member.

Set up for a big block Chevy and glide/th350. Car has gone 9.30's @144
This car was featured on SPEED TV's "Kit, An Autobody Experience", 3 Issues of Kit Car Builder Magazine and was on Pinks All Outakes.
Copies of magazines will go with the car.
There are over 180 hours of body work on this car and it was finished in House of Kolor Tangelo.
The frame is 2x3 box and strengthened in every possible place.
Headlights and tail lights are all functioning; just need wiring run to them.
This car is a "street car". I have current plates on it.
Headers are 2" primary going into slip fit Cobra Side pipes.
MSD 6A-L box, Mallory Comp250 fuel pump, Autometer Gauges, Hurst Quarter Stick shifter with PG gate plate and solenoid shift, large GM style dual 1" core radiator, aluminum 5gal fuel cell, rear disc brakes with stock ford rear calipers, front GM metric disc brakes, wilwood master, chrome wheelie bars, chromoly 4-link bars and rod ends, Simpson parachute, sealed battery box and 1yr old battery.
Cage is certification for 8.50 til 2011.
QA-1 coil-overs all the way around. Windshield is glass, the rest are Lexan. Mickey Thompsons front and rear, 28x10.50 rears, Billet Specialties wheels, 15x10 rear and 15x3.5 front.
Driver door is removable for easier trailer loading.
This car hooks hard on any track, this thing even hooks on the street! 1.44 60ft on motor, 1.36 on spray.
This car only has 51 passes since it was built. The car and everything on it is still like new.
Plenty of interior room, driver was 6ft3 220lbs.
This car is a blast to drive and handles amazingly well. The wheel base is only 91". The rear spoiler is very effective on top end.
A new kit from any of the manufacturers will run about 25-30K. That would be chassis and a bare body that needs ALOT of body work.
If you want a well built car that is different and that nobody else has, this is it.
This car could easily be used for autocross or just a driver.
The car is titled.
Do the research, these cars sell for 40-60K as a driver with a small block!
