1949 Buick 70 Roadmaster 4 Door Sedan, original straight-8 engine and original Dynaflow Automatic Transmission, The tires are on original (correct Firestone wide-whites), newer paint (original Cumulus Gray Color), water hoses and the cloth on the seats are not original as well. Very Well Maintained, Records back to original date of manufacture Febr. 1949, including original build sheet. Originally manufactured at the South Gate, California Buick Factory. The vehicle stayed in California until 2002, when a renowned St. Louis collector bought it. I bought it from that collector in August 2002. Everything works, including all gauges, the original mechanical clock, and the original tube-type Buick AM radio. For a car that is 60 years old and has 91,500 original miles, it is in great condition. Not a frame-off restoration, but very well maintained original. Original parts that were removed or replaced have been kept. You will not find another like this anywhere. Museum quality; still runs and drives very well. Very much a one-of-a-kind original. Multiple car show awards, recent 1st Place winner in its class.
