1964 Buick Skylark 2 Door Hardtop, Claret Mist/Red, 86,000 Miles
1964 Buick Skylark 2 Door Hardtop, 310 8 cylinder engine, automatic transmission, 4 barrel (just rebuilt), new interior, complete new brakes, new timing chain, cover, water pump, engine resealed (no leaks). Arizona car. Great driving car. Paint is recent (2 yrs), not show quality but nice, Claret mist, Alcan white top. New tires, Buick road wheels.
I bought car last year from second owner, (in Arizona, original owner was a doctor from Phoenix). Second owner had started work on car but never finished as he had serious health problems due to a motorcycle accident and had to sell. He had the car painted, and put in new interior. When I got the car I had it wet-sanded and buffed. I also rebuilt the carb, tuned up, points, plugs etc. Front of engine leaked, from a cracked timing chain cover (it's a cast aluminum unit) so put on a new timing cover, water pump, gaskets etc. Also had a complete brake job done, new wheel cylinders, hoses, shoes, drums turned in front, shoes and drums turned in the back. Car does have all AC intact but I haven't done anything with it, not working but all there, might just need a charge, I don't know. Only thing not stock or original is steering wheel, was on car when I got it. I still have Arizona title in hand, car runs down the road great.
