1961 Cadillac Series 62 Deville Convertible with 390CID 325HP V8 automatic transmission, runs great, 2 doors, vehicle has been repainted, 7 of 10, original motor, frame is solid, passed the Utah State Inspection, recently new tires, seats, carpet, head liner in excellent condition, manual top and frame is solid and straight. Leather interior, fender skirts, power steering, power brakes, power windows and power door locks. Original Delco AM radio, power antenna and full Cadillac wheel covers.
Cadillac was restyled and re-engineered for 1961. The new grille slanted back toward both the bumper and the hood lip along the horizontal plane and sat between quad headlamps. Front and rear coil springs replaced the trouble prone air suspension system. One of the heaviest Cadillac made at a whopping 4720 lbs with a 222 in length and 129.5 in wheelbase. 1961 was the last year of the so called 'Big Fin" design as cars started to downsize into the mid 60's. This body style has become rare and is becoming one of the top collectibles in the classic car market.
