You are bidding on a 1999 Dale Earnhardt GM Goodwrench #3 Chevrolet Monte Carlo NASCAR, The most recognizable car in the history of motor sports. This is one incredible collectors item and is full and complete in all aspects. A true one of a kind race car. This car was originally purchased from an estate sale of a private collector in Key West Florida. The heirs had very little information about the car other than it was originally raced as a Lumina and when NASCAR teams switched to Monte Carlo bodies, this car was removed from the racing inventory and prepared as a Monte Carlo show car for Dale Earnhardt. This is one of only a few cars made with the very rare black interior.
This is not a toy, it is a serious race car and is equipped with a 650hp, high performance Crate motor. It has a Tex T10 4-Speed transmission with mini clutch, geared for a short NASCAR track and NASCAR rear gear also geared for short track racing such as Richmond and Bristol. It has a 16 quart dry sump oil system, oil pre-heat system and oil cooling and full race oil filtration system. This car has a dry break fuel fill with catch can receiver, full fire suppression system, duel GM ignition system and is wired for NASCAR radio. This car is fully raceable as is as a vintage race car if you are interested, or used as a show car or added to your private collection. There is no official documentation available but the beauty of this car speaks for itself. It is period correct and looks and sounds fantastic. As stated before, this is the most recognizable automobile in the history of motor sports and can be yours to display at local events, car shows, grand openings, the possibilities are endless!! (Please note that the jack screws in the front have been raised to allow us to take the car on and off the trailer. The car can easily be lowered to it's template height by unscrewing the jack screws).
