1963 Chevrolet Nova SS ProStreet Drag Race/Show Car. 358 8 cylinder engine with an automatic transmission. 372 miles on restoration. Kept garaged. No smoke. Records are available.
1963 Nova SS originally from New Mexico, rust free car when I started. True SS car. I am the second owner before I made this into a prostreet. All the work was done by me and my fab shop, (Cedar Creek Rod Shop). This car has been fabricated using all top quality NOS or USA made name brand parts. Motor is 358 small block with eagle 4130 crank and H-beam 6in rods. Lunati forged flat tops that are thermal and friction coated by Airborn. All balanced with SFI flexplate and balancer. Heads are aluminum GM 56cc chambers with SS valves and Comp shaft mounted 1.6:1 roller rockers. Cam is Comp hyd roller with .630 lift and 306 duration. Intake is Edelbrock Air Gap RPM with Bill Mitchel Holley 750 cfm carb. Headers are SS with 1.75 primary tubes and Airborn coated. 3in exhaust with Dr Gas oval pipe. Trans is powerglide with brake and TCI 4500 stall. New 3in tube driveshaft with 1350 U-joints into a 9" Ford rear with strange 3.25in case and Richmond 4.11 gears with Detroit Locker 31 spline. Suspension is ladder bar with wish bone and coil-over shocks, front is A-arm tubular arms upper and lower with coil-over and rack and pinion steering. Has 4 wheel power disc brakes. Interior is mostly factory with cloth covered seats and custom counsel with Autometer Phantom guages. Has 10 pnt cage with swing out door bars. Body is all original sheet metal with NO bondo, has Glastex 4in cowl hood. Color is House of Kolor candy red with a red flake in the first coat of clear. Tires and wheels are Billet Specailties Street Lites 15 X 4 and 15 x 12 with Nitto 555 325/50/15 rear and Mickey Sportsman Radial fronts. Too much to list, top quality fab. Has 113 miles since completed this spring. Everything is new and top of the line. Car is show winner and very detailed. Can email more photos of areas not shown in pics upon request.
