The paint is supplied by Dupont's custom color section (Flame Red) with Flames painted on by Gary Stroud of S & S Cycles. The flames are prepared by painting on a latex paint on to the base color. Then, the flames are drawn on the dried latex mask which is applied each time a different color is used to ad to the multi-colored flame.
