1950 Ford Custom Convertible 8 Cylinder, 3 Speed Manual w/Overdrive Transmission. Vehicle Professionally Restored By Well Known Local Shop On Long Island. After 2 Years Car Was Covered In A 1994 Lincoln Town Car Deep Jewel Green Metallic, Ppg Base Coat, Clear Coat. Many Suspension Parts Upgraded With Nos Pieces. Original Flathead Rebuilt And Modified. Some Mild De-Chroming Of Trunk And Hood.
For Eight Years It Was Taken On Extensive Road Trips And To Many National Shows. Original Heavily Bored Engine Started Showing Age. Vehicle Sent To Well Known Flathead Specialist Ray Marler In Oklahoma For Installation Of A Rebuilt Low Mileage 1953 Mercury. This Engine Is Bored 30 Over With Only The Best Of Everything Inside and only 21,000 Miles. Fenton Cast Iron Headers, Large Core Radiator. All Components Are Balanced. Transmission Rebuilt With Nos Gears.
In 2004 A New Leather Interior And A Haartz Top Were Added.
