This car went through a complete two-year restoration in 1993-1995 with only 12,530 original miles. The six-cylinder engine was replaced with a rebuilt 289 high performance with Holley carburetor, Edlebrock heads, solid lifters, cam etc.. The suspension was extensively modified to handle the V8 engine and improve overall handling. A three-speed automatic transmission was substituted for the two-speed original. Virtually every part of the drive train was replaced. The interior is all New Old Stock panels and trim except the seat covers which are original. The car is free of rust - it lived in Utah until three years ago when I bought it. All the body panels are straight and the paint is good. There are now just over 25,000 original miles on it.

I bought this car from Don and Jan Schroeder of Herriman, Utah in September 2005. They bought the car from David Bancroft in May of 1999. Between July 31, 1993 and August 4, 1995 the car was completely restored at Super Ford Store in Salt Lake City. I have the work order showing that the owner, Mr. David Bancroft spent over $20,000 on this restoration.

I recently had a complete new front-end suspension kit installed as well as a brand new Holley CFM600 four-barrel carburetor to improve horsepower and smooth out the power curve. Additionally I replaced the racing-type rear end gears with a set more suitable for cruising at highway speeds of 60 mph or so. These modifications cost me just over $5000.

This is not a fixer-upper - everything has already been fixed or replaced on it. Everything that can be seen has been restored to like-new condition while underneath you have a car that handles and performs like a contemporary vehicle. The car has never run or handled better. You can drive this car every day and enjoy all the attention you will get from people who see it. I've had people flag me down on the road so they could admire the car and tell me their Falcon stories - this is great fun. By the way - it is very fast!
