1928 Ford Model A 4 Door Phaeton, AR Model, Green/Gray/Brown
1928 Ford Model A 4 Door Phaeton, AR Model. This is an original Model A, with very few reproduction parts. The only aftermarket parts are the radiator stone-guard and the electric safety fuse. Original red rubber steering wheel, "Powerhouse Generator", single tail light, early horn and lights, correct fuel valve and carburetor. Very good top and upholstery, showing very little wear. Convertible top irons and wood bows in very good condition. Convertible top, saddle brackets also included, but not shown. Good paint with two chips on body under convertible top bows. Starts well, runs well, shifts well. Brakes will skid-stop and right front squeaks. No seat-belts installed. The original Ford color paint is light dawn gray (looks green) with dark dawn gray trim (looks green). Black wheels with correct nickel lug nuts. Tires show very little wear and still have nibs on tread. Rare 1928 Idaho Potato license plate, included in sale. Owned by a long time Ford collector. The car has been in parades with family and beauty queen promenades. Stored inside and covered. Indicated mileage is 47,334. Original mileage unknown.
