1967 Ford Mustang, Red/Black, 22,507 Miles

Located in our Benicia, California Showroom 707.748.4000 For our entire inventory, additional pictures and information go to www.specialtysales.com Exceptional 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe. Finished in Red over Black interior. It has a “347 ci Stroker” motor installed by a race shop in 2002. A “stroker” motor basically means a small-block V8 that is modified to get the power of a big-block V8 – so you get big-block power without all the additional weight of a big-block. The race shop bored out the cylinders, installed forged pistons with plasma moly rings, I-beam stroker rods, a stroker crankshaft (to give the pistons a longer stroke), harmonic balancer, GT-40 intake & exhaust valves with heavy-duty guides and hardened seats. Block and heads were painted factory blue before assembly. Same shop installed 650dp Holly carburetor, 3” headers, a high-volume oil pump, 3/8” fuel line, custom throttle linkage, rebuilt C-4 transmission with shift kit, 3,000-rpm stall converter, 3.55:1 Auburn Pro posi-traction rear end, custom 3-row (heavy duty) radiator plus custom fan shroud, New SSBC front disc brakes and strengthened the suspension with new leaf springs (including a helper spring on the right side, to keep the car evenly weighted at take-off), all new front suspension including upper and lower control arms, performance coil springs, idler arm, bushings, etc. Refurbished the interior down to the floor pans including new fully-adjustable ProCar bucket seats, new Grant steering wheel, plus new insulation, headliner, steel rear seat separator, door and window handles, window trim. Also in 2007-2008, replaced the passenger tire rod, put in a high performance fuel pump and replaced the power steering pump and power steering ram hoses and had the trunk sprayed black and put down an original look cover and tire cover. Tuned up and the idle adjusted. In August: new starter, starter switch, and a new battery. It has high performance tires and Krager polished rims.
