1975 Jaguar XJ12 C, Fully Restored, Black/British Green Leather
1975 JAGUAR XJ12C. This is a stunning Ground up Frame off Restoration with less than 100 miles from the Time of the restoration. When driven it drives like a new car, The car has been Meticulously restored to the last detail, (literally, every nut and bolt). With a Mirror like black exterior and stunning deep green interior. Beauty and performance the way Sir William designed it. Rebuilt from the bottom up. (a frame off restoration) This is not a "back yard? restoration done by a hobbyist. This restoration was done by Dave of FL, Dave has been restoring British Cars for over 35 years and this car He did for himself. Dave is a mechanic so the body and paint work were done by Gary Brown, a well known specialist. The interior trim work was completed by Derrick Dunbar, a Rolls Royce trained trimmer in Boston Mass, where Dave worked as a technician and shop Forman for several years. (seePaulRussell.com). (I have yet to find a professionally restored V12 Coupe offered for sale) There were only 1359 left Hand drive cars produced. Not to mention how many are still on the Road! And this car is one of only 60-or so V12 Coupe?s known to exist that are Carbureted. This is Due to the fact that British Leylands Fuel Injected Engine wasn?t ready for the Market in early 1975. Although Tons of marketing had been done for the Debut of the 1975 Fuel injection V12-Coupe. British Leyland then opted to use there proven Carbureted 5.4 V12 Until the ejected version could meet production. The pictures will give you some idea, but if you are looking for a truly great 12 cylinder Coupe for far less than the cost of rebuilding one or buying a new Jaguar Today you might want to come and drive this ca. 100 miles on rebuild, original miles unknown.
