1969 Jaguar XKE Restored, Red/Black, 63,000 Miles
1969 Jaguar XK, 4.2L, I Have Owned This Jaguar For 22 Years. I Have Been A Collector Of Jaguars And Mercedes SL’s Among Other Makes For Much Of My Life. I Had This XKE Restored With No Concern About The Expense. This Jaguar Was A Solid And Undamaged Original California Car Prior To My Restoration. I Was Involved In Every Step Of The Restoration And Each Phase Has Been Photographed And Documented. I Can Personally Respond To Any Question Regarding The Process Of Restoration. Thousands Of Dollars And Hundreds Of Hours Were Spent On The Careful Dismantlement Of All Parts, Restoration And/Or Replacement Of Every Mechanical And Cosmetic Part. The Under-Carriage, Suspension Parts, And All Mechanical Components Have Been Painted Or Powder Coated Properly. The Engine And Transmission Were Completely Re-Built By An XKE Specialist Shop In Pasadena Using All New Components From England. The Paint Is Rich. I Do Not Wish To Bore You With All The Details That Go Into Restoring An XKE. Just Look At The Photo’s. Right Now It Has 0 Miles. I Am Reducing My Car Collection. This Is The First Time I Am Showing This Beautiful Car. What I Am Asking Does Not Cover The Money Or The Effort That Went Into It.
