1999 Brutis/Sherpa, Lycoming 0-540, N698S, complete build by Sherpa Aircraft Company, Clamar float set-up on wheels now, a/c, approx. time 195hrs.

Brutis, built and engineered by Bud Hibbard, OR and Byron Roots, Sherpa Aircraft Company, OR, www.sherpaaircraft.com, 1999 issuance of Exp. Airworthiness Certificate. The frame used is a newly overhauled Super Cub frame, epoxy coated. All float fittings welded on frame. Engine Mount attach points reinforced, overhead X-brace, lower dog-leg in extended baggage compartment, reinforced tail section, enlarged strut attach points. Floor boards carbon fiber honey-comb (Ciba Geigy (Boeing). Oversized Instrument panel. Custom windshield (extra thick). Wings extended to approx. 38 + feet, square tips, (Homer), all double cross wires, all double compression struts, metal portion of leading edge extended back. 4 x 18 gal fuel tanks per side, total 72 gal. Flaps extended by 4 feet and increased the cord by 4 inches, closed flap gap to fuselage, ailerons also increased by 4 inches in cord. Flaps operated by a Cessna C-206 jack screw to about 50 degrees. Engine mount dynafocal, swing mechanism retained. Firewall reinforced. Lycoming 0-540 C4B5, 250hp, formerly 10-540 260hp. Engine is of a Piper Aztec, overhauled 1999, Total Time since overhaul 162 hours +/-. New B&C light weight Alternator and Regulator. New B&C light weight Starter. New ECI 45 degree full flow oil filter adaptor, oil filter with Aero Mag system. New Rocker arm cover seals. New air intake box by F.A. Dodge. New Carb heat exhaust adaptor by F.A. Dodge. 2 New Univair Gas Caps. New hydraulic pump, tank. Valve, pressure reducer for back-up Ampib. Floats or Skis under front seat. r1tiCA. Leijfixed pitch propeller. Custom Cowling and fasteners. 6 inch extended custom reinforced landing main gear, 11/2" axels. Alpha Omega Suspension System (custom), w/upgraded BAR18-9A-4SL Sleeve. New 8.50 tires. Steve's Aircraft boosted brakes with individual brake fluid reservoir. Custom Seat Cushions. Rear Seat lockable storage compartment.

Removable rear cross bar. Fishing pool tube with cover. 1 Inertia real suspender type safety belt. Interior light, independent from master switch. 2 place Intercom with recorder. 2 LED red night lights. 1 Landing -1 Taxi light in left wing. 1 Comm. Radio (Icom 200 with memory) with 2 push to talk switches. 1 Transponder (Apollo SL 70) now Garmin supported. 1 Altitude Digitizer (ACK A-30). VFR Nav and Engine Monitoring Instruments (see pictures). o 2 Electric fuel sensors and indicators in wing roots. Custom made metal interior. Extended baggage compartment with safety cargo net. External baggage door. Offset battery compartment behind baggage compartment. ELT above baggage compartment with remote activation switch. 3 total tail handles. Pawnee vertical stabilizer and rudder. Double stabilizer wires. -Cessna 180 tail stinger with engineered attach points. 3200 Scott Tail wheel. 1 White tail flasher, 2 Wheelen Strobe wing flashers synchronized. Heavy duty wing struts and attach fittings (custom). All horizontal surfaces have drain grommets installed (wings, ailerons, flaps, horizontal stabilizer, elevator) for seaplane application. Assembly screws back plated. New fabric 1999. New paint 1999. Empty weight 1460 (approx.) gross weight 2500 lbs. Total Time airframe. Aircraft was always hangared in a private hangar in OR, CO and AZ.

Oil changed every 6-12 months. Several spare part and paint samples are available. MT has developed a constant speed prop with a governor for this aircraft if operated as a seaplane. Designed for high static thrust.

5. Installed new Voltage Regulator, B&C, LR3C-14, SN 0505437, Parts $228. plus $60., Freight 15.
6. Added Field Circuit Breaker, Parts, $15.
7. Replaced both Brake Master Cylinders with Steve's Aircraft vented brake cylinders, Part no. SA6-01, SN 16 and 17, no weight change, Parts $800., Freight $15.
8. Added ECI Oil filter adapter, Part. No. AEL22772-1, changed oil lines to match and installed Aero Mag to oil filter, Parts $235., Oil hose $48., Aero Mag $99.
9. Exchanged original bungee cord shock absorbers with Alpha Omega Suspension System, no weight change, Parts $2200.
10. Added gap seal on lower main door, Parts $30.
11. Re-pitched propeller
12. Repaired right wing fuel sensor gasket
13. Replaced starter 191bs with newly overhauled B&C lightweight starter, 9 lbs. Part No. BCS206-149112, SN 273077, new weight, see w/b, Overhaul cost $310: ,
