1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 Rocket, Safety Green/Gray/Gray Interior
1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 2 door Holiday Coupe w/ "ROCKET" 88 engine and has been rebuilt. About 150 miles on the newly rebuilt engine. 8-cylinder head and valve V/Type, 202 Horsepower, 324.31 cu. in. displacement, 8.5 compression ratio. Wheelbase is 122in and overall length is 203.36in, width is 77.8in, and height is 60.5in. Quadric-jet carburetion. 20 gallon tank which has been replaced. Brake master cylinder has also been replaced along with the muffler, struts, and all glass (including windshield). Transmission has been reset. Has original air cleaner, although it has been painted safety green and gray. The paint is not perfect and only needs a few touch-ups. No body work has been done, has skirt fenders over rear tires. All emblems are there. Has original hub caps. The interior is gray w/ green piping. Tuck and roll new carpet that is gray. Has lap seat belts. The dash board is original including clock and glove box. Hidden CD player inside glove box and new speakers. Also I have the original 425 page 1955 Oldsmobile shop manual for this car and a small 36 page owners manual kept in the glove box. This car is a jewel. No reasonable offer refused. The original color was a white top and 2 tone turquoise.
