1997 Peterbilt 330.

My Father in-law drove this. He has retired and I do not really want to put on another driver, so here is your chance. This is a very nice ready to go Dump.
1. Factory built dump.
2. Empty weight only 22,000lbs, w/driver and fuel.
3. Cummins 8.3L 275hp engine
4. 8LL Eaton transmission.
5. Truck is a double frame.
6. GVW 65,350lbs, 12,350lbs front, 13,000lbs pusher, 20,000lbs each rears.
7. Pusher/3rd axle is air up and down and is steerable.
8. Great 15ft box.
9. New steer tires.
10. Drive tires range from 70%-90%.
11. Brakes 70% or better.
12. Hoist rebuilt last spring.

She has hauled asphalt most of her life, but has hauled dirt, and rock also. No cement tear out. The box is great maybe a couple small dings but looks good. It is 15ft long and 55in deep. She does have an oil leak from the rear main, about a gallon every 2 weeks if you are running her hard every day. I just had it in the shop getting her a pre season service and check up. They told me that could wait until she was ready for a clutch. Which she is not. So it is not a huge deal, but you should know. The passenger seat is torn. The paint has chips. It is a very nice truck that I have taken care of. It is not new, but a nice used truck.

Remember this is not some ex road truck that a box was put on it. Believe me I been there and done that. That does not work. Big motor in an off road dump equals broken drive shafts, rear ends, tranny, not to mention all the fuel they use and if they have air ride you get stuck easier. This is a Factory Dump and it is a Pete. Everything works and she is ready to go. The truck may have more miles on it by the time it sells as I may use it yet, but for now its sitting in the shed.
