1969 Plymouth Road Runner Air Grabber Hood, Edelbrock Carb, Orange and Black/Orange/Black, 107,000 Miles
1969 Plymouth Road Runner. I purchased the car 5 years ago from a guy in Portland, OR and have been improving it ever since. I have over $40,000 invested in this car. It recently appraised for $64,000. i feel it is definitely worth $40,000 that I have invested.
The car has a nice orange and black custom paint job (basecoat/clearcoat) that has been cut and polished. The custom interior is also orange and black and has factory bucket seats. The car has the following features: 383, V8 (bored 30 over and also has a mild performance cam), new Edelbrock 750 chrome carburetor, 727 torque flight transmission with a shift kit (it chirps when shifting into second gear and sounds "cool"), Air Grabber hood, Cragar Wheels, BF Goodrich Radial tires, (matching spare tire and wheel), Chrome "Coyote Duster" air filter, MSD Electronic ignition, MSD Distributor, MSD Coil, 8 3/4" Rear, Sure grip (posi-traction) 323 gears, headers and nice exhaust system, front disc brakes, power brakes (Master Power Brake Conversion Kit), speedometer that reads 150 miles per hour, factory 8 track player (currently not working and not installed in the car but comes with it), new CD Player and 6 x 9 speakers, large Autometer tachometer, new vinyl top, oversized radiator, new fan, traction bars. Last of all-yes, the beep, beep horn works.
Both bumpers have been chromed recently. The following items have also been chromed: rear end, leaf springs, oil pan, transmission pan, traction bars, hood hinges, hood latch, alternator, water pump, trunk latch, jack stand, as well as some other front end body parts. The car looks incredible. The car has won over 30 different awards at various car shows (I have the trophies and plaques to prove it!)
The Windshield wipers and the heater are currently not working.
