1971 Plymouth Road Runner Clone, Hemi Orange/Black
1971 Plymouth Roadrunner Clone. 500 V8 Engine with 500hp. 3 Speed Automatic Transmission. RWD.
California car virtually no rust finished in its original brilliant hemi orange paint.
Indy crate street wedge 440 (500) with dual 600 CFM Edlebrock fours, Edlebrock intake, Eagle steel crank and rods and WISECO forged dish pistons cooled by a Be Cool aluminum electric radiator. Cope Racing prepared 727 transmission, B&M shifter, 2800 rpm stall converter, custom aluminum drive shaft connected to a Dana 60 posi with 371 gears with Cal Trac traction bars.
New fuel tank and fuel lines with an electric fuel pump, TTI ceramic headers and ceramic exhaust with electric controlled cutouts that generates an awesome sound.
The suspension is all new poly compound components by Just Suspensions and two complete sets of shocks (street and drag), and four wheel manual disc brakes. All new under the hood and dash wiring harness. The interior is completely insulated, restored using Legendary interiors, all new weather stripping and the instrument panel and dash were restored by Just Dash’s.
Fast, fun and a pleasure to drive with only 1600 miles on the restoration. A head turner crowd gatherer wherever I go.
