RARE TRIPLE BLACK BEAUTY! This black 911 Carrera Cabriolet is in great shape, runs great, and looks terrific. Black exterior, interior and top.
This car is an absolute icon, and if you're looking for an inexpensive way to get an all-time classic 911, this is your car.
The 1987 model has the updated, smooth G50 transmission, a strong 3.2L engine, solid brakes, fantastic handling/steering and a killer look.
The body is near perfect and the convertible top is in good shape, and the interior is clean and in good shape too. It has air conditioning, but you won't use it much with the convertible top.
The car has been well maintained and has a few upgrades but is mostly Porsche stock. Excellent Yokohama tires, original Fuchs wheels and strong brakes.
Recent shop work at Porsche dealer includes new alternator and brake fluid change. The car always starts, does not leak oil but smokes for a few minutes until warm. The miles are fairly high, but this motor and transmission are both strong and can easily go to 300k - these older German cars are built to last a long time. Don't let the miles deter you -- it's not much on this car.
Overall this is a very good car, looks fantastic, runs great, and can be used as a reliable everyday driver. I love this car and hate to part with it, but it's been a good, fun memory-maker, and I need the garage space.
